What I need to know
Do I have to have an appointment?
Yes. Your appointment time is the same as your first appointment time.
What should I wear?
Please wear a loose fitting top that the sleeve may be pulled up to the top of the shoulder. The vaccine must be administered high on the arm.
Do I need to wear a mask?
Yes. If you forget yours, we will have some available.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
Due to parking limitations, please plan to arrive just a few minutes before your appointment.
Do I need to bring my insurance card(s) with me?
Yes. You must bring your insurance card(s) with you. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, you must still bring your Medicare (red/white/blue card) with you. Medicare is paying for the vaccine directly.
Which vaccine will be administered?
We will be administering the Pfizer vaccine.
Who will be eligible for the vaccine on that day?
Those that have had the first dose of Pfizer.
For individuals aged 16 and 17 who are in an eligible population for vaccination, Pfizer is the only vaccine currently approved for these ages.
What if I am allergic to Miralax/ Gavilax or PEG (polyethylene glycol)? Can I still take the vaccine?
No. You will need to speak with your physician or health care provider. We will not be able to give you the vaccine. Allergic reactions to the vaccine are rare, but there have been cases of people that were allergic to PEG also being allergic to the COVID-19 vaccine.
Can I take the COVID-19 vaccine if I just had another vaccination?
No. You need to wait 14 days before getting your COVID-19 vaccination.
If I cannot make an appointment for the immunization clinic on Sunday, what should I do?
We will be providing immunizations at a later date. We will open up a scheduling calendar on our website as vaccine availability permits.
